We live and work in Ipswich, so we understand the area’s homes better than most – including the quirks of older Queenslander properties that need a more careful approach to rewiring and electrical upgrades. Alex Laspa started Brumby Electrical after growing up in the trade, Alex trained under some of Brisbane’s most respected domestic builders — and it was there that his passion for Queenslander homes took hold. Drawn to their timeless character, he’s since renovated two Queenslanders himself, learning firsthand the care and skill it takes to protect their charm for the next generation. Alex’s specialty today is finding that balance: bringing modern comfort and technology into a home without ever losing the old-world character that makes a Queenslander so special., and that same commitment to honest, quality work is behind every job we take on today.
